My name is Dave Riebel and I am honored to serve as principal of both the L-A Elementary and Intermediate Schools. Our schools have long been recognized as being safe, caring, yet an invigorating and exciting place to learn. We have an exceptional, talented staff who are all here to support students to become all that they can be. The Lewiston-Altura Mission Statement is “Preparing our students to be productive members of their communities, our nation and the world.” At Lewiston-Altura Elementary we will strive to play our part in that mission by providing an education that focuses on the whole child where students are part of a healthy, safe, engaging, supporting and challenging classroom while building their foundational academic skills. We hope to continue to provide for the needs of every student who enters our schools.
My wife Ann and I are proud parents of our three sons, Jackson, Sam and Reece, who have each benefited from being a part of our Elementary and Intermediate school family, and then moved on to grow as a part of Lewiston-Altura High School. I have witnessed first hand how our home and schools can work together to raise a child. I welcome the continual challenge of leading our Elementary and Intermediate Schools in providing for the students of our Lewiston-Altura community family. My office is always open.
