My name is Sarah Berndt and I started teaching fourth grade in Lewiston in 2013. Before I arrived in Lewiston, I taught in Rochester, MN, and Madison, WI. I live in St. Charles with my husband, Ward, and two kids, Gabe and Allie. I have two dogs named Maizey and Cooper.
I grew up in Winona, and attended college at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where I graduated in 1999. I have earned a Masters degree from St. Mary's University, and have completed some work toward a principal degree through Winona State University.
In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, reading mystery novels, spending time with my family, and listening to country music. My favorite class to teach is science, and I love watching students carry out experiments, learning by doing! I am looking forward to another great school year!
